| It takes longer to sew this together and do the hair than all the knitting |
The clown is a future heirloom. My 87 year old mother knitted one for Jack (her first great grandchild) and just finished another for the baby due in February before she passed away on the first of September. She had asked me to sew them together and do the hair as she felt her arthritis and eyesight weren't good enough for them to be finished as she wanted....(she was an extremely prolific and accomplished knitter and crocheter until arthritis slowed her down) so I made sure this clown was ready. I was really glad that I was able to show her these photos when she was in hospital so she knew what I'd taken over for Jack when he arrived.
