Ok the throw is now about halfway through. After the trauma of having to replace one colour so it wouldn't be supporting the opposition AFL team..the final combination of teal, purple and rust, while not what I would necessarily choose actually looks quite cool. Choosing the stripe combination took some time and thought but I think it will come together nicely as the final piecing is done.
I'll post a photo of the progress of the different panels later on.
One completed panel, one in progress and the third panel, which is the largest, had the motifs finished but sewing together awaits!
