This super cute baby is wearing a 4 ply knitted hoodie... four colours knitted in a twisted rib which was so slow and time consuming I have a feeling the pattern (in this form) will never be repeated! (Though the finished garment was beautiful.)
When not working on the challenge of the last post I'm currently in the middle of a garter stitch hooded double breasted coat in about a nine month old size... with a little extra length to allow for the recipient being very long for her age. The fibre (left) is ultra soft, fluffy nylon in shades of white, pink, blue and lemon... while the photo is fairly accurate it's unfortunate that computers can't convey softness! It knits into more of a fabric that a traditional knit and is worked on a pair of 5mm needles. Counting rows is a challenge but not impossible (I just have to be a little more careful than usual)
