Close-up frog cover photo

While on the subject of photos.. this frog made the perfect cover model for Good Teacher Magazine's latest issue.
I had no idea what sort of frog this was but he was chilling out in the surface of a bin full of water beside the house.
He clutched onto the paspalum grass which was dipping into the water and the opportunity to try to get a close-up was too good to miss.
This was one of those fortuitous snaps which just happened to be 'right place, right time'. The only photo-shopping done was the removal of a couple of reflections near the top which only distracted the viewer, there were no enhancements to the image of the frog.
Immediately after I had finished breathing over this wee frog he decided that escape might be a good idea and swam to the edge of the bin.... the next time I went to see what he was up to he had vanished...
After a quick hunt on the Internet (thanks Mr Google)...
I'm pretty sure it was a variety of frog called the Green and Golden Bell Frog or Litoria aurea... which was imported into New Zealand in the late 1860s.                                  http://goodteacher.co.nz
